Welcome Teachers!
IWASM in the Classroom is presented by the International Women’s Air & Space Museum. We are a 501(c)3 non-profit organization dedicated to preserving the past, present, and future contributions of women in aviation. Therefore, we have developed IWASM in the Classroom as a way teachers can introduce science, aviation, and aeronautics into the classroom in a kid-friendly way. If you enroll your class in IWASM in the Classroom you will receive our bi-monthly kids club newsletter filled with fun recipes, cool science experiments, fun facts, the chance to win prizes every edition and much, much more. The newsletter can be used for making lesson plans or make copies to hand out to your students. Along with the newsletter being sent to your class, you will also receive a teachers supplement and information on upcoming events and exhibits; great for field trips!
